How To Distinguish Swine Flu
The following advice has been circulated around the staff of one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies to aid in distinguishing flu from the common cold. Read it carefully so that you know when you should be calling an NHS helpline. Remember, you may only have a cold, and not Swine Flu.What are the symptoms of flu?
Symptoms of flu are a fever (>38°C) or a history of fever, and TWO or MORE of the following symptoms: cough, sore throat, runny nose, sneezing, limb / joint pain, headache, vomiting / diarrhoea.
